These training programs include the following:

Americans with Disabilities Act (approx. 1 hour): Overview and discussion of the ADA’s anti-discrimination and reasonable accommodation provisions. Intended for managers at all levels.

Affirmative Action (approx. 1 hour): For employers with federal affirmative action obligations, discussion of what it means to have an affirmative action program, not just a plan document. Intended for managers at all levels.

Building a #1 Team (approx. 1 ½ to 2 hours): We will discuss the 5 “keys” of building a great team: Communication, Listening, Reacting, Resolving Conflict and Enthusiasm. A great training session for your employees.

Change – Who Moved My Cheese (approx. 1 hour): To be effective in today’s marketplace businesses must be prepared to change and change rapidly. This course will assist employees in learning to accept change and handle the stress of the change itself. Intended for any level.

Conflict Resolution for the Workplace (approx. 1.5 hours): Learn effective ways to diagnose and resolve workplace conflicts. Intended for all levels of management.

Developing Employees (approx. 1 hour): This session will help your managers to bring out the best in their employees. It touches on diversity, communication, and coaching. Intended for managers at all levels.

Discipline and Termination (approx. 1 hour): Your supervisors will learn the proper way to discipline and terminate employees to have the best chances at keeping yourself out of court. Intended for managers at all levels.

Documentation! Documentation! Documentation! (approx. 1 hour): Understand the important role of documentation and the steps managers need to take throughout the evaluation and disciplinary processes, up to and including termination. Intended for managers at all levels.

Employee Communication – Supervisors (approx. 1.5 hours): Your supervisors will learn how to handle gossip, how to confront employees, and about conflict resolution and communication.

Employee Communication – Subordinates (approx. 1.5 hours): Your employees will learn what gossip is and will be trained to not gossip. They will also learn about confrontation, handling conflict and about communication.

Family & Medical Leave Act: The Basics & Beyond (approx. 1 hour): Just like it sounds! Intended for managers at all levels.

Generational Difference in the Workplace (approx. 1.5 hours): Learn how something as simple as the year you were born can influence your work relationships, employee productivity, leadership and the attainment of organizational goals. Intended for any level.

HIPAA Privacy Standards (approx. ½ hour): Overview of the HIPAA privacy standards, who they apply to, what they require, etc. Intended for non-health related industries.

Interviewing Smart (approx. 1 hour): Overview of the selection process from screening resumes to selecting a candidate, with a focus on preparing for and conducing interviews properly. Intended for managers at all levels.

Leading People: Strategies for Maximizing Your Leadership Potential (approx. 2 hours): Learn to assess your leadership strengths and make a plan to capitalize on them. Intended for mid-level to senior managers.

Legal Environment of Human Resources (approx. 1 hour): Overview of labor and employment laws, including Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, etc. Intended for managers at all levels.

New Supervisors: How to Survive your First Management Experience (approx. 2 hours): They want you to actually manage those wild animals called employees? Was that long dreamed of promotion really worth it? Of course it was! We will help you sail through your first supervisory job smoothly. Intended for new supervisors.

Performance Reviews: Creating a Performance Management System that Works (approx. 2 hours): Learn to streamline the review process and gather ideas to help write a more effective assessment of employee performance. Intended for managers at all levels.

Put the Super in Supervisor (approx 1 – 1 ½ hours): Overview of what it takes to be a great supervisor. We talk about the supervisor’s role, attitudes, survival skills, problem solving, team building and much more! Intended for supervisors at all levels.

Substance Abuse: Recognize It When You See It (approx. 2 hours): We will provide the steps and tools needed to enforce and maintain a Drug and Alcohol testing program in Oklahoma. This program meets the DOT Federal Motor Carrier and Safety Regulations’ (Reg. Section 382.603) supervisor training requirements. Intended for managers at all levels.

The 3-Headed Monster: ADA , FMLA, and Workers’ Compensation (approx. 1 hour): Overview of the referenced laws, followed by a discussion on the inter-relationship and inconsistencies between them. Intended for managers at all levels.

Top 10 Mistakes Employers Make with Their Employees (approx. 1 ½ hours): Similar to Legal Environment of Human Resources, but focusing on specific issues employers struggle with under labor and employment laws, such as lack of documentation, failing to take harassment concerns seriously, miss-classifying employees under the FLSA, etc. Intended for managers at all levels.

Workplace Harassment: Managers Beware (approx. 30-45 minutes): Overview of anti-harassment laws with discussion of legal background and suggestions for preventing and/or responding to harassment allegations. Intended for managers at all levels.

Workplace Harassment (approx. 30 minutes): Similar to management training session referenced above but with focus on reporting requirements and without discussion of liability issues. Intended for non-management employees.
